It’s summer, it’s the middle of the year and everybody thinks at holiday right now. Your truly included. So, instead of exploring some new personal development territories, I decided today to take a break. Explore some other areas of life. Like things you get for free (yes, sometimes you really get things for free) or just interesting opportunities. Let’s start.
WPSumo July Promo Code
It’s been a while since I didn’t published any promo code for my beloved WPSumo project (which, in case you didn’t know, it’s a state of the art, powerful, flexible and innovative WordPress framework). We’ve been pretty busy here, as always, making new stuff. This time, it’s not about the framework itself, which, as many of you confirmed, is pretty stable and balanced, but about child themes. Yeap, we are creating a bunch of child themes, ready to be used by our great WPSumo fans. So, just thinking at the fact that we’re ready to launch these child themes, getting WPSumo at a discount before this happens, well, I think that’s a pretty darn good idea. So, here you go: by using the promo code
You will get a 50% discount of the WPSumo developer license. Exactly, 50%. Because we’re cool like that. Just to put things in perspective, you’re gonna save more than $60 bucks on the WPSumo Developer License. If you still don’t know yet if WPSumo would be a good choice for you, just have a look at the features first.
iAdd 1.3.7. Is Live On The AppStore
Another project that is very close to my heart is iAdd – the Natural Productivity App, which recently hit the 1.3.7 version number. If you followed my blog closely you already know that I completely changed the interface and solved a bunch of annoying bugs, making the iAdd usage experience much more enjoyable. The latest version, 1.3.7, brings back the local notifications, which, somewhere, somehow, were lost in translation. In celebration of this fact, here are 5 promo codes which will give you the opportunity to get iAdd for free.
If you know what you’re looking for, just go ahead and get iAdd for free directly from the AppStore. If you don’t, just have a look at the iAdd features first. Oh, by the way, there is now a iAdd Lite app, which has all the features of the commercial version, with only one limitation: you cannot have more than 5 realms at a given time in any realm.
Natural Productivity – the iBook
Since I already gave away 5 promo codes for the iOS app, I thought it would be a good idea to give away at least the same number of copies of the iBook related to this topic, namely Natural Productivity – Assess, Decide, Do. Here you go, just use any of these promo codes (do let me know in the comments if you have problems with any of them):
If you don’t know how to redeem a promo code in iBookStore, maybe this post will prove useful: How To Redeem A Promo Code in iBookStore.
How To Self Publish On Amazon, Kindle and iBookStore
This is my latest ebook and, as many of you know, it’s also part of an experiment related to KDP Select, a promotion program created by Kindle in order to support indie authors. It’s not gonna be a promotion today, in this post, but I can tell you that, during July, there will be 2 days in which How To Self-Publish… will be completely free. As in free beer. It’s obviously not today, but it won’t be later than July 20th. So, stick around, because I’m gonna blog about it before it will happen. Subscribing by RSS may not be such a bad idea.
Well, that was it. Hope you’ll enjoy your freebies and promotions.
Meanwhile, I’ll enjoy my holiday. Which I hope you’re gonna do too 🙂
Running For My Life - from zero to ultramarathoner
The spooky thing about depression is that it sneaks in. There aren’t really trumpets and loud voices announcing: “Hail, hail, this is depression entering the room, all rise!” Nope. It’s slow, silent, creepy. It doesn’t even look like depression. It starts with small isolation thoughts like: “Maybe I shouldn’t get out today, I just don’t feel like going out”. And then it does the same next day. And then the day after that and so on. And then it starts to whisper louder and louder in your ears: “Why would you go outside, you loser? Didn’t have enough yet? Want more people to make fun of how much of a big, fat loser you are?”
And then you start to breath in guilt and shame, instead of air. Every breathe you take is putting more dark thoughts into your body.
Until you get stuck. You can’t move anymore. At all.
If you want to know how I got out of this space, eventually, check out my latest book on Amazon and Kindle.
