How It Started
When my one year old started watching cartoons on the iPad, he learned the interface surprisingly fast. Scrolling, picking videos from the sidebar, even accidentally subscribing to channels. The UX patterns became second nature to him.
One day I thought: what if I used that same familiar interface, but with different content? Instead of a video, show an object image. Instead of related videos in the sidebar, show related objects. Instead of Subscribe, add buttons that speak the word in different languages.
The first version took half an afternoon to build. When we tested it, he was briefly confused that there was no video — but the patterns were the same. He scrolled, he tapped, he pressed the language buttons. He was learning words in three languages without realizing it was "learning."
That's how AI Kiddo was born. Now it's live on the App Store with 8 integrated languages.
Easy Vocabulary Practice
Everyday objects your child already knows — chairs, cups, towels, fruits, animals. Now they can learn what they're called in different languages. The interface mimics familiar video apps: a main image in the center, related objects scrolling on the side. Just tap, listen, and repeat. No complicated menus, no confusing navigation.
