Privacy Policy for MosquiGo

Information We Collect

MosquiGo is designed to minimize data collection. Here's what we access:

Information We Do NOT Collect

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone)
• Audio recordings from your device
• Contacts or calendar data
• Photos or files

Information Stored Locally

• App preferences (volume, timer settings, selected presets)
• Premium subscription status
• Usage statistics (sessions count, total usage time) — stored only on your device
• Rewarded ad watch history — stored securely in device Keychain

This local data is never transmitted to our servers.

Location Data

MosquiGo may request location access for future features (mosquito risk assessment based on weather). If enabled:

• Location is used only to fetch local weather data
• We do not store or transmit your precise location
• Location access is optional and can be denied without affecting core functionality

Subscriptions

When you purchase a Premium subscription, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple. We receive:

• Confirmation that a subscription is active
• Subscription type (monthly or lifetime)

We do not receive your name, Apple ID, payment method, or any personal details.

Advertising

The free version of MosquiGo displays ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:

• Device advertising identifier (IDFA)
• General location (country/region level, derived from IP)
• Device information (model, OS version)
• Ad interaction data

Premium subscribers see no ads, and no advertising data is collected for them.

You can limit ad tracking in your device's Settings > Privacy > Tracking.

Third-Party Services

• Apple App Store: Processes subscriptions
• Google AdMob: Displays ads (free users only)

We do not use analytics SDKs, crash reporting services, or social media integrations.

Audio Output

MosquiGo generates ultrasonic audio output through your device speakers. The App:

• Does NOT record any audio
• Does NOT access your microphone
• Only outputs sound; it does not listen

Data Security

Local data is protected by iOS security features. Rewarded ad tracking uses the secure Keychain. We do not operate servers that store your data.

Data Deletion

Since we don't collect personal data on our servers, there is nothing to delete on our end. To remove all app data from your device:

• Uninstall the app to remove all local data
• Keychain data (reward tracking) is removed when you uninstall

Children's Privacy

MosquiGo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
