The Service

Zen Tales provides Buddhist stories with text-to-speech playback and AI-powered reflections. The AI generates responses for contemplative and educational purposes — not professional advice.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old. Under 18 requires parental permission.

Your Device

• No account required — credits and progress are tied to your device
• Credits persist across reinstalls; local data (reading progress, saved reflections) does not
• We cannot transfer credits between devices

Purchases

• All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests go through Apple.
• Credits are consumed when using AI reflections
• Credits don't expire and have no cash value
• We may change credit amounts for future purchases; existing credits aren't affected

Acceptable Use

Don't:

• Reverse engineer or tamper with the App
• Use bots or scripts to access the service
• Circumvent usage limits or security measures
• Use the AI to generate harmful or illegal content

AI Disclaimer

AI responses:

• Are not professional mental health, medical, legal, or financial advice
• May contain inaccuracies
• Don't represent any specific Buddhist tradition or teacher

Do not rely on AI responses for important life decisions.

Intellectual Property

The App's design and code are owned by Dragos Roua. The stories are from traditional Buddhist sources in the public domain. You may use AI-generated responses for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from your use of the App. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the past 12 months.

Termination

We may suspend access for violations of these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use means acceptance.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania.
