Privacy Policy for Adulthood

Short version

• No account. No advertising SDK. No selling data.
• Reading progress, bookmarks, and most preferences stay on your device.
• Optional AI coach and Full Manual download talk to our servers. Purchases go through Apple.
• On-device Life Personalization (Apple Intelligence) runs on your device when available.

Information We Collect

What stays on your device

Stored locally and not sent to us as a product feature:

• Onboarding choices and reading progress
• Bookmarks, saved tips, junk drawer items, and maintenance check-offs
• Life profile answers you enter for personalization (after the 18+ confirmation)
• App preferences (appearance, notifications, haptics)

When you use the AI coach

To generate a reply and manage credits, our service may receive:

• A random device identifier (for credit balance and abuse prevention)
• Your IP address (rate limiting and security)
• The text of your coach messages and limited chapter context needed for the answer
• App Attest / security proofs that the request comes from the genuine App

When you unlock Full Manual content

After a Full Manual purchase, the App may send a StoreKit transaction receipt (JWS) so we can verify the purchase and deliver the content pack. That receipt is for verification. It does not include your name, Apple ID, or card details.

When you make purchases

Apple processes payments. We may receive a transaction identifier and product identifier to unlock features and grant coach credits. We do not receive your payment method.

On-device personalization

Life Personalization can use Apple Intelligence on supported devices. That processing is designed to run on device under Apple’s system. We do not receive the full contents of on-device model prompts as a separate analytics stream.

How We Use Information

We use server-side information to:

• Provide AI coach answers and credit balances
• Verify Full Manual purchases and deliver content
• Prevent abuse and keep the service reliable

We do not:

• Sell your data
• Use your data for third-party advertising
• Build cross-app advertising profiles
• Require your name or email to use the App

Third-Party Services

• Apple: App Store purchases, StoreKit, App Attest / DeviceCheck, and optional on-device Apple Intelligence features.
• AI inference provider (via our API worker): Coach prompts are processed to generate responses. Providers process content to fulfill the request under their terms.
• Cloudflare: Hosts our API worker infrastructure.

Data Retention

• Device identifiers and credit records are kept while needed to operate the service
• Abuse-prevention logs are short-lived
• On-device data remains until you clear app data or uninstall

Your Rights

You can:

• Stop using AI coach or Full Manual download features to limit server contact
• Delete local data by removing app data or uninstalling
• Email us to request deletion of server-side records tied to your device identifier

If you are in the EEA or UK, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law (access, correction, deletion, and related requests).

Children

The App is intended for a general adult audience of practical life skills content. Life Personalization requires an 18+ confirmation in the App. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
