Terms of Service for Adulthood

By using the Adulthood app (“App”), you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the App.

The Service

Adulthood is a practical life-skills guide: free chapters and tools, optional Full Manual access, maintenance checklists, phrasebook-style language tools, and optional AI coach answers. Content is educational and general. It is not legal, medical, financial, or professional advice.

Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
  • Life Personalization features require you to confirm you are 18 or older inside the App.
  • If you are under 18, use the App only with parent or guardian permission where required by law.

Your Device

  • No account is required. Progress is stored on your device.
  • Uninstalling the App may delete local data. We cannot restore local-only progress.
  • Some features (Full Manual download, AI coach) need a network connection.

Purchases and Subscriptions

  • Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Refund requests go through Apple.
  • Full Manual may be offered as a time-limited subscription and/or a lifetime purchase. Prices and availability are set in the App Store.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings.
  • AI coach credits may be granted with Full Manual and/or sold as consumable packs. Credits have no cash value and are non-transferable.
  • After a Full Manual purchase, content download may require a one-time network request so we can verify the purchase and deliver the pack.

Acceptable Use

Don’t:

  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the App or API
  • Circumvent purchase checks, credit limits, or security measures (including App Attest)
  • Use the AI coach to generate harmful or illegal content
  • Misrepresent the App’s content as professional advice

AI Disclaimer

AI coach answers and on-device personalization text are generated automatically. They can be incomplete or wrong. Use judgment. For legal, medical, financial, or safety decisions, talk to a qualified professional.

Intellectual Property

The App, branding, and original content are owned by Dragos Roua or licensed to us. Free and purchased access is for personal, non-commercial use unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App. Our total liability for claims relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us for the App features in the twelve months before the claim (or zero if you only used free features).

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
