I just launched ShareByLight—transfer files with light only. No Wi-Fi, no Bluetooth, no cables. One device shows a stream, the other reads it with the camera. Free on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
I was invited to a new podcast recently. The angle was: “stop, and then start over” (“punct, si de la capat”, in Romanian). The whole podcast is a new project, backed by a major Romanian TV network, Pro TV. I mention this because I have very nice memories about that too, I used to work in that group, both in the FM radio and in the nascent TV network, 30 years ago.
The whole podcast is about an hour and we touch a lot of ground. And by that, I mean a LOT. We talk about:
- selling my first company, 18 years ago
- experimenting the suburbs lifestyle (spoiler, I didn’t like it)
- making the jump as a full digital nomad: Spain, Portugal, Korea, Vietnam
- how I won a hackathon in Korea, although I was there for something completely different
- on being terminally curious and stubborn
- falling in love after you accepted it will never happen again
- owning a bar in Saigon
- and many, many other things
The podcast is in Romanian, but you can either enable captions in your language, or, depending on your settings, even audio dubbing.
If you have any questions about it, just leave comment, I read them all. And, if you like it, like, shareand subscribe!
