Terms of Service for Shape Walk

By using the Shape Walk app ("App"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the App.

The Service

Shape Walk is a health and fitness app that guides you to walk real-world shapes in your neighborhood using GPS. The App reads data from Apple Health and optionally syncs your walk collection to iCloud (Pro subscribers).

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old. Users under 18 require parental permission.

Your Device and Data

  • No account required — your walk collection is tied to your device
  • Free users: data is local only and lost on uninstall
  • Pro users: data syncs to your private iCloud and is restored on reinstall
  • We cannot transfer or recover local data lost through uninstall or device loss

Health and Safety

Shape Walk involves physical activity outdoors. You are responsible for:

  • Walking safely and following local traffic laws
  • Not using the App in a way that puts you or others at risk
  • Consulting a physician before beginning any new exercise program if you have health concerns

The App's step, distance, and calorie data is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for medical advice.

Subscription (Shape Walk Pro)

  • Subscriptions are auto-renewing and processed by Apple
  • Plans: $3.99/month or $24.99/year, each with a 7-day free trial
  • Cancel anytime via Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions
  • Refund requests go through Apple
  • Pro features: all 15 shapes, full collection access, calorie tracking, iCloud sync, no ads
  • Free users retain access to 3 shapes (Square, Circle, Triangle)

Acceptable Use

Don't:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App
  • Use automated tools or scripts to interact with the App
  • Circumvent any subscription or ad-related restrictions
  • Use the App in a manner that violates local laws

Intellectual Property

The App's design, code, and assets are owned by Dragos Roua. You are granted a personal, non-transferable license to use the App on your Apple devices.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including injury during walks. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

Termination

We may suspend access for violations of these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use means acceptance.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania.
